Thanks Salmon, went to a private spot down HWY 1 South. Had a blast, got to test the boat out for 6 hours (my first time yak fishing) and ended up taking it home. Now I have to use it as much as possible before my kid arrives in October.

You arent Yak life until you Launch behind that Cardiologist office on East 70th and fish the bayou behind Chef Lee Super buffet.

I caught a ton of good bass there circa 2002-2005

About a year ago I saw a truck backed into the treeline gettin yak life on the side of E70th across from Shreve High, possible Salmon sighting?

Beam, yes I am hooked, I woke up this morning and made sure it was really in my garage.

From what Ive heard, the duck pond produces. I brought this fricker to work with me today just so I can look at it in the back of my truck from my office.

Could've been me as well. People are always shocked when I tell them there are fish in there. Has anyone ever been bothered launching behind the cadiologists office? I work right around the corner and just wanna know before I piss someone off.

Is that the same bayou that runs underneath Bert Kouns between highland and Posados? If so I'm bringing my pirouge to work and fishing on my lunch break.

Nvmd, I bet ya'll are talking about the one by Pierremont. I used to watch a ton of gar go ape on the surface over there.

I think that is "Bayou Pierre" behind your work. Please pirogue in your scrubs when my wife is working so she can take hoist pics for you.

Welcome to the club! WS seems to build some nice yaks. They definitely have a ton of accessories to rig it out. Good purchase.

It does. I just park on the side of east kings and drag the yak down the hill.

I love that my kids love baseball, but good God does it eat up all my free time. I won't get to fish until June the way its going.

Demon, words like those scare me . Trying to get it in before October, then I will be dust in the wind.

ETA: Nice Ross . Lets get out soon, except not next weekend. Not "we" but "my wife" wanted to have a gender reveal party on Saturday, so the fate of the rest of my life will rest inside of a cake, as pink or blue icing, until it is cut at approximately 2 pm Saturday.
