Since you're all about defending bama safeties, what about Harper?

Jets should be able to grab 2 very very good defensive players if they chose.

Played like shite this past season. I'm not all about defending Bama safeties, I defended Barron based off of a fact that even Aubies would admit, no other Safeties outside of Barber, who was next to him all year, had worst CB play in front of them.

Harper is ok if you're not paying him too much, he can be a serviceable blitzer/run stopping Safety, but in coverage he's a target, any QB we play will find him before doing anything else, and throw his way.

Hopefully they go CB and WR now

I could see them going with a Tackle, if either Fisher or Lane is some how available. They could always try to move up a few spots.

The New York Jets have agreed in principle on a trade to send star cornerback Darrelle Revis to Tampa Bay for undisclosed draft picks and the Buccaneers have agreed to a long-term contract that will make Revis one of the highest paid non-quarterbacks in the NFL, according to multiple sources

I like this. He's really good and it makes the Bucs secondary really really good. That being said, he will be 28 this season and the Bucs are expected to be giving up their first round pick this year. Also, he's about to eat up a huge amount of cap space limiting them from getting better pieces in the future. This isn't a move that makes a great team elite. It's a move that makes an average team one dimensional, hamstrings them financially and hurts their future by losing a 1st rounder.
IMHO

dead on...I'd much rather gameplan against Revis than an elite pass rusher, WR, or qb.

Exactly.

Also, the worst defense we have ever had shut them out last year. Revis doesn't change that.

Wow the Jets are retarded. They only got a 1st and conditional 4th in 2014 out of the deal? And we can't get a 4th rounder out of these clowns for Ivory

Whoever Revis has as an agent is an idiot...plain and simple.

There is probably a 0 percent chance Mingo drops to use. No way the Jets pass on him twice.
