Keeping cats out of the wifes flower bed

The Crazy cat lady down the road keeps feedin' 'em.I dont want to smell cat shite when I walk out the front door. My neighbors seem to frown on the sound of a .22 at midnite. So any suggestions?

Liquid crab boil works well, but be careful because it will kill the flowers if you overdo it. Spray it around the outside edge and rinse the sprayer out very well after. Yard will smell like a crawfish boil and the cat should stay out. It works for keeping coons out of your trash cans too.

Wait, you have ammo for your .22??
My grandmother used to swear that jars half filled with water would keep cats and dogs from shitting in the yard. From what I remember it worked too.

Thanks for the suggestions, I think I'll try the liquid Crab Boil first. After that, ya never know. But for the spelling Po-Po, catch and release isn't an option. But thanks for the hint

I have a really old .22 with a 26-inch barrel. A CCI CB Short out of that rifle is quieter than an air rifle...and it takes care of cats permanently.
Otherwise, make a daily routine of trapping and hauling off to pound. A pain in the arse, but the persistence will pay off.
Sprinkle powdered cayenne pepper around areas that cats crap. But this gets expensive and has to be done every week.

Doesn't look great but the sticks are cheap and effective.

Subsonic .22 is not whisper quiet, but it also isnt going to wake someone up...
