Interesting. Do you First wort hop or mash hop? Don't think I saw you oxygenating?

I've started mashing for as long as it takes to heat up my sparge water, which is right around 30 mins.

Well that's nothing compared to pure O2 like that guy was suggesting against. I'm not saying I know it all because I don't but I know the White labs and Jamil Zs of the world still suggest some Pure O2 for a bit. Plus that article is from 2006. I don't know. I know you can find contradictory information on all subjects of homebrewing but I think I'll continue to oxygenate.
PS: frick shaking a glass Carboy. Couldn't imagine.
