I hope to never develop a conscience that sees such an act as acceptable. Totally indefensible.

Are you really trying to equate those abortions as similar?

Vast difference between an early term abortion and an "after birth" abortion. After birth abortion = murder brah.

The Supreme Court has yet to rule on 'when does life begin'. They've shirked this issue since Roe v Wade, but it really needs to be decided.

I am not religious (agnostic actually), but I am pro-life because I believe that the concept of life, the creation of a unique human being, begins at conception.

The pro-abortionist argument that life is defined at the point of viability of the child outside the womb is weak at best, as this implies a moving target based on the medical technology of the time .
In other words, a three month pre-mature birth that occurred in the third century would have very likely resulted in the death of the child. The same premature birth today would have a much better survival outcome.

The concept of life is too fundamental to be decided by the 'current' medical and scientific knowledge and technology of the time. This concept should transcend science and be established as a fundamental human law.

Any definition of the beginning of life that isn't conception or birth is arbitrary. Religion doesn't need to be a part of it.

Semantics brah! In both cases someone ends up dead! If you have an abortion, provide an abortion or support abortion = sick puppy.
