Don't blame him... Like one of the posters said, "one of the worst coached big games I have ever seen..."

As a Saints fan, I'd love to have him.

However, for his own good, he needs to get as far away from New Orleans as humanly possible.

He didn't seem disinterested when he opened the game by talking shite to the Bama bench.

God, I hate the rant. Three pages of comments before someone points out that IF YOU READ THE DAMN STORY it's obvious that his disinterest was part of depression. The whole damn story was about his depression and drug addiction. He wasn't being lazy. He wasn't tired of football. And he's not saying "dumb" things right now that will hurt his career. The whole point of the story is
Oh, F-it. ESPN hates LSU.

I remember him saying he wanted to prove that LSU had the best defense before the game and couldnt wait to play them again. Then he plays his worst game ever at LSU and now says he didnt want to play the game in the first place.
Throws LSU under the bus with his "at least 10 failed drug tests" quote. Even tho they had already suspended him an entire game for the "legal stuff" and had issued a final warning to him before they had to toss his sorry depressed arse.
He also took a shot at our coaches after losing the Bama game. But LSU stuck by him and allowed him to work out at their pro day after all of his stunts. That pro day workout was huge for him. Again LSU puts him in a comfortable and controlled environment with a ton of scouts there; a great and obviously undeserving opportunity.
Otherwise he wouldve worked out by himself if anyone wouldve shown up or wouldve had to pay his way to some unfamiliar place.
Seems like the next Pacman Jones.

When will it end. What a freaking nightmare of a game.

Im afraid of never will, it's ingrained in history as one of the, if not the, worst offensive showings in nc history.

Knowing he continues to say moronic things like this, I can't imagine drafting the punk. Any GM who takes a flier on him and misses deserves to be fired.
You simply can't take a chance on this type of person in the NFL these days.

I loved his great moments at LSU but thank God he isn't with the team anymore. He would be a cancer

Exactly. For all the idiots talking about "I don't blame him, it was the worst game plan ever. Miles is an idiot blah blah blah", the article is about his DEPRESSION.

His feelings had nothing to do with the game plan, it was his general mentality at that point because despite all of the success he was having, he felt more isolated and alone than he ever had.

It's really not that difficult to understand.

I wished I skipped it to. The worst offensive called game I have ever witnessed.

[quote]b) Apparently representative of the pathetic mindset of the entire team heading into the national title contest.

Just a historical reminder: 1959 No1 LSU defeated No 3 Ole Miss 7-3 in the regular season. The two teams were matched AGAIN in the Sugar Bowl.

LSU lost 21-0

Psychological influences can affect a teams performance, both ways.

Fox
U are right, he did have good coverage but u either make the plays or u dont for your team. Mcarron did he didnt. Those two plays were very key plays in that game.
He shouldnt be blaming anyone or his depression for this. Just give the other team credit. They specifically targeted him on those plays and they made them.

If you would read the article you would see that he didn't say this. It's based off a report that he told his girlfriend he felt like skipping the game before the game.

Some retards will just believe any thread title posted on here.

I didn't read through the whole profile on ESPn, but in the article you link (op, not earthworm jim) it says he told his girlfriend he didn't want to play...

Does he give this info to us or is this coming from his GF? Because I don't believe a word she has to say.

I also don't really care about any of this.
