Appreciate your respectfulness as well. Most conversations on this particular issue when two people disagree dont seems to go very well.

If it is not normal, it is, therefore, abnormal. Not usual. Why do you suppose that is? Can you describe any homosexual societies? Are you the product of a homosexual relationship? Does that even matter to you? Homosexual behavior is as old as humanity, but it has always been rejected by the majority of heterosexuals as deviant behavior because it is deviant. Why are not the majority of people, animals not homosexual?

Deviance (like normalcy) is defined by societal standards. 50 years ago a mixed-race couple was deviant and abnormal.

That's your excuse for letting yourself go?

Plenty of gay men have children btw lol. Either by adoption or a prior relationship.

It's painful that you use the word "tortured" in this conversation.

Using a dictionary, you have not proven that there is anything unnatural or abnormal about homosexuality. It occurs in nature. Repeatedly. In hundreds of species. Just because you choose to label it abnormal does not make it so. Nor does calling something deviant make it so. I could call blonde hair deviant if I wanted to, I guess, based on your illogic.

Another point, women's equality has been rejected by a powerful majority for generations. I guess that must be natural too.

And white men maintain quite a bit of power across the global. Yet, white men are a minority. They are not the norm. Deviance!

Simply labeling someone abnormal and subjecting him/her to persecution will surely have an effect on his sense of self worth and well-being. What you have done here is support my argument. And you have provided no basis for your orientation, your life style choice (which appears to be to remain impermeable to reason).

Ha so no gay has ever faked straight long enough to have kids? I like how you ad "of their own" like adopted children aren't their parents.

Get out more. It's happening. And it will happen even more once marriage and legal adoption is open to all loving couples.

Thanks for making my argument for me, Mickey. You refer to a heterosexual couple no doubt. Do you think that societal standards will change the nature of procreation? If so, how will that be an improvement over what God has wrought?

Plenty? Really? How do you know this? Were they born of homosexual mothers? What is your main point? That two men can have a family like a man and a woman. You have been completely brain washed or have taken too many punches to the pumpkin. Either way, you have no argument.

Blue's comments are an example of "society".

No, Blue's comments are an example of realism. It's realistic to believe that a gay man is more feminine than a straight man. Of course, there are some butch gay men (is that an oxymoron?) and general tough guys that you couldnt pick out of a crowd, but generally, it's pretty obvious when a guy is gay, and those guys wouldnt necessarily excel at football. Blue's comments werent a form of societal conditioning. It was a common sense response.

Admitting it is the first step

Care to prove this point? This is totally absurd. How are living things (animals mostly) generated? Without that, even the purblind could not exist. Homosexuality is a waste of product. It creates nothing. It is abnormal.

I do not wish ill to homosexuals, but have grown tired of their vapid argument that homosexual couples are like heterosexual ones. If that were true, why the distinction between them?

Is it possible for the majority of parents to be adopted parents? What is your point? Homosexual parent is an oxymoron. Do you just not get this?

that is the audio of the interview. Nothing really wrong with what he said IMO, and I am extremely pro gay rights

re: Yahoo article on Alfred Blue comments

I actually just listened to it for the first time and Blue's comment don't seem too bad, I think he just slipped up on that one question.

Because you'll notice he kind of backs off and says eventually they would accept the person and it wouldn't be an issue as long as they took care of their own business and played hard.

The Reveille did screw up but not posting at least one of those other quotes from Blue because it's clear in the interview he wasn't negative the entire time

Care to educate yourself before labeling something absurd? Typically when I don't know something, then I try to do some reading. It does wonders.

Also, you confuse gender, gender roles, and sexuality. This makes conversation difficult since we're not operating using commonly understood distinctions here.

So you must be one of those people who think people choose to be gay.

Where did you get that from anything I said dumbass? The fact is, I have no way of proving its a choice just like you have no way of proving its genetic. This is what people on here are so sick of with this topic. I gave my belief and also inferred a lack of bigotry on my part, but the fact that my beliefs are different than yours, you make an assumption like this. Way to go retard, you are further proving the truly "ignorant" people's point.

Being gay is a choice. And I can prove that about as much as anyone can prove that it's not. That's a fact.

How did I confuse these things? A man and a woman must have sex for procreation to occur. Men and women are not the same thing, but people who promote homosexuality would have all believe that they are. Again I ask if you care to prove your (absurd) point?
