Bomber's friend on CNN " didn't want to throw my friend under the bus"

Did anybody else here this? With Jake Tapper and another guy. The kid's name was Eric somebody. He clearly stated he thought it was his friend but didn't call because "I didn't want to throw my friend under the bus". Followed by awkward wtf silence from Tapper.

What a moral idiot.

Do our anarchist libertarians disagree with his inaction?

He has no obligation to the state. He wasn't harming anyone by his inaction. Assisting the authorities increases the growth of government.

The 7/11 clerk he robbed, the policeman he killed or the guy he carjacked, all this morning, might disagree with your statement.

I'm sure this kid isn't the only one who decided to keep his mouth shut. Wonder if that makes him an accessory?

He had no way of knowing his friend would continue the mayhem.

This is what I'm thinking. Supposedly one of those idiots was pretty popular.

I wouldn't think so.

to be fair, think of it this way. what if he was wrong? i'm sure thousands of people in Boston knew people who looked like either. those weren't the best or most clear of pics

with NDAA, turning in your friend may put him in jail for the rest of his life, regardless if he did anything or not

I nominate this as the Rex worthy quote of the day.

I would say he should have no legal obligation to speak up, but certainly there is a moral obligation.
