Well, both Monty and Dell were saying that we wanted to get younger during the previous off season. (Don't ask me to link bc I just remember them saying that).

After just one season, now they are saying that we need some veterans. The guys on the team right now aren't ready to compete yet.

This was a necessary step and I think it has frustrated Monty, but if he meant it like you're taking it, we'd see the young guys replaced by vets. I don't expect Rivers to get less minutes next season and I think the odds are high that fellow rookies Roberts and Miller are back. Maybe that means Monty wants to trade the pick rather than have another rookie starter, but I don't think he's saying going young was a mistake, just that it was hard and he's ready to move on.
