But he is one of the (if not THE) best Quarterbacks to come to LSU.

O'Brien Award
Manning Award

only played for two full seasons.

He may have shown up a lil tubby to fall camp, but at the end of the day he was a leader and a class act while here unlike the jefferswag era thugs.

and a class act

not that i dont like him or wish him failure, thats just stupid. But he was no class act. He just knew how to keep it out of the spotlight.

His throw to Early during the "home" game at ASU is one of my favorite plays.

4thh and 10 I think,1:13in the 4th quarter, throws a dart to early in the corner of the end-zone, 40 yard TD.

Enjoy

This game is very difficult to find video of. Students watched from Tiger Stadium back home. Very emotional post-Katrina game.

I'll never understand the hateful idiots that can't let that go. He's from Alabama. Grew up there. Lived there after the NFL. Has tons of friends and former teammates that played for them and family and friends that cheer for them. But he CHOSE TO PLAY FOOTBALL FOR LSU.

JR's career stats against Alabama:

39/61 508 yards 5 TDs 0 INTs

LSU 3-0 vs. Alabama with JR as QB

Pretty sure there was no doubt as to where his loyalty was on the field

Loved JR. His arm was simply incredible.

JaMarcus and Rohan are my favorite LSU QBs.

I wish the Saints had held out on signing a backup....Brees could have taught him a thing or two and he IS a tremendous talent.

I'll never forget finding a bar in Arlington, VA with LSU fans and watching him dominate ND.
