Anyone use a squealing hen call?

Just added one to my turkey vest. Seems like it should be a good tool to have even though I've always been a scout well and sit kind of guy. Anyone here use one regularly? Got any tips/tricks?

I'm not much of a turkey hunter apparently even though I do try. Well, I guess I'm more of a hunter as opposed to killer. Anyway, I'm pretty damn angry with turkeys right now.
I don't have one but there are others here that are much better hunters/killers than I.

If you are not trolling.... Throw the squealing hen away... Get a slate or a box call if you are a beginner.. Listen to hens, mimic their sounds.. Dont use the squealing hen.

I use my slate call sparingly, typically. And I'll throw in a mouth call if set up on an edge of an open corn field and worried about too much movement. Blew a tag last season (multiple spring turkey seasons here) and the call was $5-6 online. Figured I'd give it a shot...but I was hoping there were folks like you to give some advice. Now, I won't throw it away but I probably won't go to it unless I'm really desperate late morning at the end of the next season. Thanks.
