Just lost my sister. I know what they must be going through. Nothing makes sense. Let the memories live and know that wherever they are, they are at peace.

Sorry for your loss bro...

What the frick is your problem bro? You made your "grand appearance" in this thread yesterday and I noticed all your comments were deleted. You couldn't stand that, so you enter again today to be all combative once again. Are you really trying to troll people or are you really that miserable of a person?

Struck a nerve, did I? The fact that you choose not to address anything I said says volumes about your childish response.

Just let it go...

This thread has become a cluster of hurt feelings and whiny sissies, I hope that wasn't your intentions...

Good point. I suppose by your reasoning that no one else should dare to read an obituary.

I can remember when obituaries told the cause of death too. Of course times have changed.

I'm not saying no one else should read death notices. What I am saying is that you wouldn't have given the girl's passing a second thought if it hadn't been Alan Risher's daughter, and you aren't entitled to any more information than what the family chooses to give. If you have a morbid curiosity that needs to be satisfied grow a pair and hang out at a funeral home, and then try harassing a family that has lost a loved one in person.

The notice you refer to was not a true obituary. Those are typically written by third parties. What you reference was written by the family, and is more accurately referred to as a paid memorial advertisement.

So it's wrong to casually ask if anyone here knows what happened? You serious? You've never asked that question? The more you post, the dumber you come across.

To simply ask what happened means you have a "morbid curiosity"? ok

Good lord that breaks my heart. As the father of a 19 year old, I honestly couldn't imagine how to move on from that. Dear Lord , please grant the Risher family peace, comfort, and a special measure of your Grace during their time of need.

Don't think so. There was a time when all obituaries mentioned the cause of death. Then they would say "after a brief illness" or "after a long illness." That began about the time that guys with AIDS were dropping like flies. What family would want to have that printed as the cause of death?

Also, I don't know exactly when "special" friends started being mentioned. To me it just sounds stupid.

All he did was ask if anyone knew. He never asserted a "right to know".

Lighten up.
