Nothing wrong with taking some of y'alls "left overs" in my opinion. Been very pleased with the guys from the boot that LSU didn't want. Raven, Everett, Pat Lewis...all have turned out great for us, couple others, not so much. I am very optimistic about Ellis and Claiborne in the 2013 class, and think Washington could turn out great as well.

I really don't know how close Harris is to picking up an A&M offer. I wouldn't think we're that close as we have some other guys we really like over him. His completion rate is very concerning I think, not sure if that is a product of the guys he plays with or what. Anyone know anything about that?

nah there not that dumb... south louisiana and north louisiana are very very different my friend especially when it comes to lsu passion

Tell that to David Toms. That's an idiotic comment. North Louisiana is very passionate about the Tigers and alot of us went to LSU so shut up.

Sometimes it seems LSU doesn't recruit N. La. as earnestly as it does S. La. (I know, local recruiting is more convenient and efficient).

Shreveport isn't the LSU hotbed that southern LA is. Lot of A&M students come from Shreveport or nearabout

Shreveport is easily over 80% LSU. The majority of high school students want to end up Tigers

And there is your reason why N. La may decide to go elsewhere , because of comments like that

This is very much true. I grew up in Shreveport and I can count on one maybe two hands how many non-LSU college sports fans I have known/met there.

North la kids will go out of state because some people think south la produces more talent?

Sounds like great criteria to base a college decision on. Good luck to those mature young men.

So. LA produces more talent because their is a greater population and thus more recognizable schools.

I'm tired of those few recruits who think everything is owed to them and they should have everything handed to them on a silver platter.

If you can't compete for you offer when that's all you were asked to do, then will you compete for a starting spot or transfer?
