Texas would be better off trying to get Taveras and giving the Cards Profar. Throw some other pieces in there from either side and call it a day.

He had a really bad start to last year too. OPS was .628 and had one HR in April.

I'd prefer Stanton, but that should be Plan B. The Rangers need to trade Profar while he's still the top prospect in baseball.

Stanton sucked dick last April as well. It did not stop him from having a monster year.

Olt is older than Stanton. Texas needs to give up Profar + good prospects in order to get Stanton (who will be cheap for the next few years), not fringe level prospects.
