The NFL is impossible to project. Everyone thought Pete Carroll would flop, and he is kicking arse.

No, I thought harbaugh and Carroll were slam dunk hires, there is something I can't put my finger on about Kelly that just screams 3-13

Carol was a decent NFL coach during his last stint. Or first stint I guess I should say

dude has no wife, no kids, and obsessively thinks about football and his offense specifically, every hour he is awake I'd imagine.

I think once he gets his personnel in place he will do quite well.

With the browns he's 3-13. With the eagles I think he can be successful. At least early until teams catch on to his offense.

The same was thought about Saban and we all saw how well he did in Miami.

I actually think he can do very well. Their division is certainly winnable.

It's essentially impossible to predict. No one knows. Not even Eagles fans. The system he implements could be extremely successful (as it was at Oregon) or it could be a complete dud. It is easily one of the more exciting topics to keep your eye on this upcoming NFL season.

Think about it, if this offense is highly successful, he could totally change the NFL in the future, much like the forward pass, West Coast offense, and so forth.

What we do know is that Chip Kelly LOVES to run the football, and he has two really fast running backs to work with.

He won't fail.

If i had to guess, he'll run an up tempo version if what Seattle, San fran, and Carolina do, which is a traditional offense with some read option mixed in.

But his success is based on the tempo of his offense, not the option.

I don't think he will that bad. I think his uptempo style will be fine and he will just adjust to whatever personal he has.

Despite their recent struggles, the eagles have talent.

I think he will succeed.
