So the Lakers can lock up the seventh seed tonight, how far do they go?

I say at least second round.

They can beat the Spurs in 6.

I think the Nuggets would wreck them in round two though, they need to hope for a Golden State win in 7.

And lose to the constantly overrated Spurs?

Nah, they have the Spurs number this year, even without Kobe. They'd lose to the Thunder in four, probably.

IMO would have definitely beaten the Spurs with Kobe. They could still do it since the Spurs are riddled by injuries, but I wouldn't bet on it.

The Nuggets have some injury problems as well. They would probably run them out the building, but who knows with Danilo out and Faried hurt.

With Kobe and Nash I'd say they'd actually have a chance getting to the Conference Finals. Without them I say they have a good series against SA but not much chance after that.

Only Lebron can beat the Lakers.

I think right now they may actually be lucky that they will have Nash and not Kobe, and I don't mean that in a disrespectful way to Kobe. Nash hasn't had an opportunity, yet, to run this offense for a full game. P&Rs with Pau and D12, setting everything up, he couldn't do it before because Kobe would always demand the ball, but with Nash running the show I think it's gonna be really hard for teams to stop them, so their bad defense just needs to be closer to average to pull out some wins.

I doubt they make it past 6 games. I wouldn't be surprised if they steal 2 at home, but they don't get past the first round.

I know they've underachieved badly this year but it is hard to think they make it past the Spurs without their best player

Hold your horses gump. They're not even going to get the 7th seed tonight. They'll just lose to OKC in 4 games instead of SA in 4-5.

The only decent player LA has is Gasol who obviously can't take control of a game himself. Dwight Howard is so overrated it's not even funny. I would take Asik over Howard any day.

The Lakers were supposed to be the best team in the NBA this season and barely made it into the playoffs. Yet, the Spurs are overrated?

Lakers went 1-2 vs the Spurs, 1-3 against OKC, 1-3 vs Denver, 0-3 vs the Clippers, and 1-2 vs Memphis.

That is 4-13 vs the top 5 seeds.

Edit: Stats I used didn't include April
