At 3-6? He'd better be the next Lillard. I love the kid but man what a reach.

Yes, it would probably have to be us trading down or getting other pick.

Some peope think he can be this draft's Lillard, the are the same size and game. Both stayed all 4 year, it will be interesting to see how his athleticism will test out at the combine. Lillard rose from around 10+ range to the 6th spot after his showing there. Their numbers are almost identical:

If he isnt picked in the top 8 he will be the steal of the draft.

AST rate is a little worrisome, but that can also be attributed to the quality of his teammates.

The TOs are probably pretty good given a high USAGE rate for McCollum. That's one thing that was remarkable with Lillard- he did not turn the ball over considering how often he handled the ball.

If anything McCollum seems too similar to what they project Rivers to be.

I can't have a pg with an assist/to ratio lower than david west

Context, bro.

Ast/TO ratio is a flawed stat. Steve Novak has hafdseasons with better ast/to numbers than CP3

Look at the AST rate and TO rate of McCollum, Lillard, and West.

McCollum has very similar numbers to Lillard and much superior to West

I love his game, I think he'll find a place in the league as people with his skill set often do. That said, I wouldn't want him 3-6

McCollum is a stud. And if he would of been healthy this year, you would be hearing a lot more about him. I like him a lot. Especially considering how weak this draft is.

In regards to his lack of assists, he played at Lehigh. They didn't want him to pass the ball because there was nobody else on the team worth a damn.
