We need a private room on May 22nd. We only have a party of 10, so that might make it a little difficult. Irene's said that it wouldn't be cost effective for a party that small, and I left a message at Galatoire's. Any other suggestions? We need the private room to be able to presentations, thanks to government regulations (poli board stuff).

TIA!

The Rib Room a few options, Galatoire's has a new private room on the third floor that costs minimum $2500, Domenica has a private room that hardly any one knows about, Ruth Chris will can accommodate you as well.

Hope this helps!

Calcasieu

Had our dinner there on Wednesday, and was impressed with the set up. The food was good, but nothing to make a fuss about. I'd do another meeting there again based on atmosphere alone. The blue crab hush puppies (sorry, they aren't beignets) and crab salad on homemade chips app were really good. We had shrimp and grits as an app, and it was good as well. The black drum was just okay, should've gotten the short ribs.

Just went to a rehearsal dinner at Royal House the other weekend. You could probably rent that whole room upstairs. It's big enough for a big group dinner and a presentation set up. it has it's own bathrooms upstairs as well as a bar.
