Old Tyme Grocery would compete with any of the top New Orleans places. Not saying it's particularly better but it isn't bullshite.

You must not be to familiar with area. Guy's, Mahoney's, Tracey's, Parasol's, and Magazine St all have better poboys. In fact I could find 5 better poboys at Mahoney's alone and I'm not even a Mahoney's fan. They just use better ingredients. I don't hate on Dom's I just think its top 3 overrated po boy places in the city. I ate a Dom's about 3 weeks ago. Felt like having a RB with horseradish for some reason. Was the 1st one there when they opened b/c I'm not standing in a line to eat there.

I've eaten there and wouldn't make that same statement. It was descent just not good enough to compete with the better New Orleans area places.

Old Tyme is the only place in Lafayette that makes a good po boy, and while it is as good as any all the rest in Lafayette suck balls including that Chris place which is just horrible
