Maybe McNamara himself will sign up and come argue with us on here like Victor Howell did

I said before I have no idea since I'm not in the GM'S office, but I want someone up and coming like the DeMar Derozen type. I have no idea if the Raptors would listen, but I want someone established and ready to take the next step. We're not getting a first tier player for our pick, I know.

I mean Porter, Oladipo, Burke, MCW all returned after their freshman year and all drastically improved.

none were top 3 picks.

...Cody Zeller cost himself by staying in school

I guess the only good thing about Smart staying in school is that the Pelicans won't take him. I don't like him at all as a prospect. He's not skilled and not very athletic. He's an "intangibles guy.

O and eyeryan, Smart is extremely athletic. Had trouble translating it to his game this past year, but he has a very athletic guy with great size for a guard.
He may test out athletically but it doesn't show up in games. He was a below the rim player all season. In the same way Rivers tested out pretty athletically, but didn't have one dunk his entire rookie year.

He thrived on bully ball against smaller guys in college. He's MKG at the PG position.

I agree with this. I'm not sure what the guy is thinking, if the info is right (likely is, of course).

Also, it was Joe that said that Bismack thing. Dislike both or either, just helping keep the reasons in the right column.

Have at them.

frick that, tank hard or don't tank at all. Why settle for Smart when you can get Wiggins or Parker?

I LOVE Wiggins and Parker but we better not be talking about getting those guys at this point next year.

At a certain point you have to start winning games or you create a culture of losing around your whole franchise. You turn into what the Bobcats or Kings have become and it wears on everybody

Looks like Kyrie has had enough of he and his teammates sitting out games for BS reasons:
quote:

Coach Byron Scott said he thought Irving was injured on the game’s final play and a team spokesman announced in the locker room just prior to Irving meeting with reporters that he had suffered a bruised right heel. Irving acted surprised upon hearing that.

“That’s what I have? Oh, when was someone going to tell me that?” Irving said. “I’m hurt again? Damn. How long am I going to be out, 4 to 6 weeks?”
