I have a Hop 15 sitting in the fridge, waiting for a good day to pop it open. Assuming it's an unfiltered beer? Looks murky in the bottle.

Had Hop-15 last night and it impressed. Not be bitter that I figured it would be, had it after a Pliny and it held its own.

Going to have the black IPA in the next couple of days I hope.

It is terrible. You don't want it. I wouldn't drink it south of Ascension Parish or it might cause you discomfort.

See if you can find some sucker to take it off your hands.

I'd like for 5 years to live in an alternate universe where IPAs were best when aged and stouts and porters were best when drank as fresh as possible?

Will shite, maybe I can trade a natty for it considering that's about how much it must be worth.

yo Dean you ever get over to the mission?

quote:

Beloved Mission sandwich purveyor Pal's Takeaway is turning four this week, and chef-owner Jeff Mason sent us all the details on the special chef-collaboration sandwiches they'll be putting out this Friday. Nopa's Laurence Jossel will lead the charge with a house-cured tasso ham, asparagus remoulade, and pickled onion sandwich on Josey Baker bread, while Pal's neighbors at Wise Sons Deli are contributing their famous pastrami for a banh mi from what Mason refers to as "the remote Vietnamese mountain village of Oy Vong." Onetime staffer Dave Knopp will contribute his classic coffee-rubbed pulled pork on a Firebrand challah bun, while Amy Brown and Joe Wolf of Marla Bakery will offer chai pots de creme and other treats.
