Just go to the 1:00 mark. Is that the throttle for a 1986 Boston Whaler?

Which ought to make this next statement obvious...anyone who is worried that J.J. Abrams, lifelong Star Wars fan (dude did not know anything about Star Trek), is going to frick up the Star Wars films is insane.

This rests solidly as my second most anticipated movie of the summer behind Man of Steel. Can't wait.

close enough. no one wants to see the helmsman gunning the engines on a touchpad

Tom Paris would agree.

If he wasn't so beaten up after a life of sex with a Klingon. That's like a 30 year NFL career.

I haven't anticipated a movie this much since I was a kid. Not even the Star Wars prequels

Torres probably beat the shite out of Paris for some of his dumbass remarks.

Tom Paris

I'll still never understand why he was two different characters in the star trek universe, but was the same person in real life. The character he played on TNG translated perfectly to Tom Paris on Voyager, yet they made him someone new instead...clearly I haven't gotten over this

It shows too much, spoilers..
lol wrong thread.

It does give away a lot of info though. That ship he has.

I'm guessing he is Section 31.

Nick Locarno was created by the writer of the episode The First Duty. The creators of Voyager wanted to use him as a character, but would have had to pay the writer every time they used his character, which is to say multiple times per episode. So they just "created" a different character. And that's how you get Tom Paris.

Now the main question is why didn't Paris and Chakotay bud up as alphas and give Harry Kim swirlies every day during lunch period.
