The bigger crime was showing KFC commercials on FSNO. Popeye's is a New Orleans institution. In fact for most of the world Popeye's is as close to New Orleans cuisine as they can get.

Yeah, Quick Change got stale about 20 seconds into their performance the first time I saw them at LSU. At this point, there is not a halftime show that sucks harder. The dogs are always pretty entertaining.

I think that's the point. KFC is trying to chip away at Popeye's hold on the market down here. Popeyes feels like they don't need to advertise much down here. Unfortunately, Popeye's quality has really gone downhill. At this point, I prefer the chicken from Church's. Also, those shitty sponge biscuits are a poor replacement from the Popeye's biscuits I grew up eating.

Two churchs by my house kill popeyes around here.
And the churches off loyola is better thab popeyes on loyola
I can't speak for rest. Just ones I visit.
Churchs is rarely dry and tons od meat on chicken
And while I love the jalepno bombers popeyes does win side with rwd beans

Usually i dread eating fried meals... but dam dat evamore has me enamored. Fried shrimp and fries weren't bad
