I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you're talking about them being an item, not that Luger giving her downers is what caused her death.

Seriously? Wrassling references?

The 5th pick scenario is cool.. but what if we win the 1st pick. Who would they take then?

Probably Nerlens Noel, just because of his name.

Noel. I've been swayed by the too skinny isn't a problem crowd because in 4 years a rotation of Davis/Noel/Anderson would probably be the best front court in the league by a wide margin.

Not really sure. Everyone is high on Noel, but I just can't get down with drafting a slight center with no offensive game who is a few months removed from ACL reconstruction. His career path may be similar to Tyson Chandler, but delayed by the injury. Young centers just develop so slowly and are often on a second team by the time they do.

I think the Hornets would draft McLemore or Smart first actually, because I don't think they want to wait any longer, and Noel would make the rebuild longer IMO. But I think Noel is the best prospect.

I'm a big fan of Oladipo's 360 vs. Illinois.

If his knee heels properly, I think he may be the best in 2016. That's a lot of hoping and waiting for my taste, though.

So, I just googled for mock drafts and found DraftExpress' latest Mock. They have us taking Zeller at 6 ahead of Burke, Porter, and Len...

They don't factor in need until later...after the Draft Lottery I think.

Edit: They basically just rank the players, team's and need aren't taken into account.

If trading isn't an option, the lesser of the evils are Noel and Burke.

Still, Zeller top 6? I'm not seeing it.

DraftExpress has always liked Zeller. He'll drop once the lottery is set and the draft process starts (combine, workouts). I see him somewhere around 10.

Same here. I just don't think he has the upside teams look for early in the lottery.

This might sound crazy but I would consider taking Glenn Robinson III to play the 3 for us. Crazy athleticism, has range, and can play defense.

It's crazy to take him where we're likely to pick.

If OKC offers us a sweetener to move back to around the 10-11 spot where Toronto is slotted, he's more of a possibility.

Assuming those four guys are off the board I think the pick needs to be Oladipo or Burke.

I'm hoping the Pels can get the lotto balls to fall right and will get a top 3 pick and end up with either Smart of Porter.

I think if we stay in the top 6-7 I would not be upset with Noel, Smart, McLemore, Porter, Dipo, Burke and maybe Bazz or Bennett....MAYBE shabazz

I think it really depends on what Monty plans on doing over the summer...keep/trade EG10, future of GV, Rivers, Aminu, Lopez, etc

But with all that being said its got to be BPA out of those 8

My pick though is Burke
