Lochte is the only American athlete that I pulled AGAINST in the Olympics. He's a douche that's jealous of Michael Phelps.
And it was funny when Phelps clowned him once again in London last summer after Lochte talked all that noise. I remember the relay where Phelps built a big lead only for Lochte to blow it in the last 100m

He wasn't a complete failure but the natural comparison to Phelps made every gold he didn't win look worse.

As a former swimmer, I disagree with you
Surely the dude is an idiot, but at least he brought some personality to the sport unlike Phelps. I didn't really consider him much of a trash talker. He said that he wanted to be the best, but he never called out Phelps or any other swimmers like that douche Cavic did.
And as for that relay that he blew, he shouldn't have been on it in the first place

Most people would consider winning two golds, two silvers, and a bronze a solid Olympics, just nothing compared to Phelps

The personality he brought was awful. Wearing grills when people stopped doing that 10 years ago. His trademark word being not cool to begin with and also 25-30 years old. He gives off more than enough douche chills without being a trash talker.

No bro....Michael Phelps did that in 2004 Athens games. And 2008 Beijing. And 2012 London.
I can assure you people were watching swimming to see the great Michael Phelps one last time and to watch him make history. They weren't watching this loud mouth POS Lochte who did nothing but talk shite for four years about how he was gonna dethrone Phelps, it was Lochte's time to shine, blah blah blah. His shite talking is on par with Kim Jong Un.
