I'm watching The Wire right now. When I'm finished, rank these shows that I should watch in order.

I've never seen Suits, so I can't judge. Sopranos is probably better than Breaking Bad, but BB will serve as a good break between the two shows. The other plus is that depending on how quickly you watch them you could theoretically finish up with the first 4.5 seasons of BB in time to catch the second half of season 5 as it airs.

I'd actually take a different route here. I think most things will pale in comparison to how good the Wire is.
I'd say
Suits (fun and lighter)
Breaking Bad
Sopranos
Mad Men
I'd also offer up The Shield if you haven't seen it.

If you want further recommendations and haven't seen The Shield or The Wire, either of them above BB, Sopranos and MM, although all 5 are excellent.

I'm in a similar situation. I was about to start watching The Wire and I also have not seen Sopranos or Mad Men (I have seen breaking bad and it's fricking awesome show).

It's really all about individual tastes. Mad Men is the most thought provoking of all 4, with slot of what makes it so good being beneath the surface. That being said if you have trouble getting into any of the 4 it'll be Mad Men. Suits is awesome but it's a much different category of show than the other 3 and the wire. The other 4 are consensus best tv dramas of all time. Breaking Bad and sopranos pretty much comes down to what premise strikes you as more interesting. Personally I'd give a slight edge to breaking bad for originality, but sopranos is on hbo which means more cursing, violence, nudity.

I guess if you want to watch them in order of the best, you'd have to go:
