Just got home from watching the weekend series in Fayeteville...

I sat right behind the Tiger dugout and the play at first involving Laird in the 10th happened right in front of me. I can tell you the Hog fans had a serious case of redass after that play...Laird was not tagged but he might have run a little out of the base path...shhh ..I won't tell...as it was it was only an insurance run but it made the bottom of the 10th a little more relaxing. The games were great and the Arkansas fans were very respectful. The facilities are tremendous...second only to Alex Box! I consider it a blessing we got 2 out of 3!!!

I only got to go on Saturday. I was very impressed with the stadium though. I'm imposing a self-ban on myself from going to baseball games because dating back to 2010 out of the 30 or so baseball games I've been to we only won a handful. I don't think I went to any we won last year. I'm bad mojo 
Okay, I'll probably still go to a few more this year, but we better win because I'm tired of seeing them always lose in person when most of the time they're winning.

I'm hoping to reverse this trend myself. I've only been to two games, ever. I was at the Saturday night game of the Bama series in '09, a series LSU won but they lost the Sat. game.
I was also there last year at the SEC Tourney in Hoover and witnessed the loss to Miss State.
I will be there next weekend in Bama again for two games...Sat. and Sun. Now, I'm sure we'll win at least one of those but I'm hoping that the team will once again go on and win the Natty. Much like they did in '09, after I watched that game in Tuscaloosa.

My only game in old Alex Box was a loss to Georgia. After that, LSU didn't lose in that stadium until the super regionals. Hell they didn't lose at all until the super regionals.

went to the game yesterday. great game!! daughter, grandson and i were sitting down the 3rd base line close to the home run wall. we were peppered with foul balls all day. it was fun, but didn't realize that Laird's hit down the 3rd base line was controversial (actually in) until i got home and watched on tv. also didn't realize that Van Horn was actually tossed. thought he should have been, but couldn't see from so far away. most Arky fans are really nice, but just like anywhere (except for LSU, of course :) ), there were a couple of jerks that you had to ignore. only objection: wish I had taken sunscreen....:)
