I think THIS thread is anchored more so because You kinda name dropped it every chance you could get, and in the possessive. So to spite that it was anchored.

I think this because since its anchoring two or three more threads started.

hmm.

Coco just said "done" in response to unanchoring this thread. Yet it is still anchored.

So is one just playing an Admin, or is one an admin?

ETA- he is an Admin.

Thought so.

Add it to the list...

okay trying to do this right..

Has the pregnant chick that Sam likes...her name ever been mentioned on the show?

Cocomo, you watch the show intently, yet miss the important subplot of last season.

Clearly Gilly has been mentionced and even further referred to by Sam. He has clearly mentioned his desire to save her and go back for her. A promise he made in season two.
You missed a major plot point. No spoiler was given.

The name Blackfish has only been spoken in passing when Cat was talking to her sister in the Vale in season one.

But the info has been given out by HBO.

There is even a behind the scenes video that introduces you to new characters from this season.

Knowledge of this does not constitute book spoilers.

This show is losing me.

I'm a smart guy and don't need to be spoon fed but as a non book reader about 40% of the second and third eps are just a complete mystery. No idea WTF is happening.

TH03 is gonna be so upset this thread is back.

Too bad it wasn't here earlier or perhaps the nonreader thread wouldn't have gone to shite.

We can help to clarify any questions you may have about who's who without getting spoilery, at least I hope.

you are three hours into maybe one of the most epic thousand page books of all time. Just sit back relax and let the story unwind.

It will catch you soon enough.

I think this thread might be a good idea as sort of a Season Long Q&A thread....where non-readers can come to ask questions of readers and readers can answer them according to the rules in the OP

quote:

Readers: Please answer any questions directly without giving away information which would constitute a significant spoiler. Comparison of events in the show to the books is allowed, but keep any discussion or speculation regarding future events in the book readers thread.

Readers get crucified if they so much as post in non-reader threads, and non-readers may be afraid to post in the reader threads for fear of seeing any previous spoilers and such.

It's probably not needed on a weekly basis, but as a season long thread I think it'd fix alot of the problems with this board and this show.

I'm not a fan of Stannis's advances on Melisandre... This is a pretty big departure from the books development of his character

I know its strange, but their development involves drastic changes in their lives. You see this already. It takes awhile for the changes to start happening. They are all over, but it has a point.

No yuri, this is the thread where we all come together and make peace. More open discussion of episode, basic questions answered, no significant spoilers (crosses fingers ).

Yes readers get crucified.... but mostly because they are being assholes about it. All it takes is a quick scan of the reader thread to find out how high and mighty some of the reader jackasses think they are.

That being said - There are many helpful readers and I think that this thread is a good idea.
