How confident are you in the pitching outside of Nola and Eades to get us through the tournaments late in the season? We all know the one weak spot for this team is relief pitching, but do you think our offense will overcome anything our pitching gives up?

I dont really care about the sec tourney, we will be fine in the ncaas, you only need 3 starters if everything goes right in regionals, supers, and the cws

And you only need 2 studs to roll through the tourney. I think opponents pitching will run out b4 ours. Especially with our bats.

About average. It won't hurt us early on but in Omaha you face the best of the best and need to be consistent

It's nice to get a post season gem from a non weekend starter like that soft throwing lefty a few years back vs. Vandy. Don't remember his name. I think pitchers will emerge in post season. Manieri is setting up our 4th and 5th guys now.

I think if McCune comes around we will be set. I'm just hesitant to count on him after last season.

Coleman and rururudo went back and forth in 09 in omaha. Win and you can do it with two.

Very confident. We have played 35 games and the bullpen hasn't lost a game yet.

I kinda thought our bullpen would be and is our weakness, but after 35 games it's extremely hard to argue with the results.

Through 318 innings of work:

Starting Pitching gave up 40 earned runs

Bullpen Pitching gave up 44 earned runs

All while we scored 267 runs

Alan Dunn has done an incredible job and props to whomever was responsible for getting him here. He is a huge get for us.

you don't need a great third starter to win a championship you just need someone who can keep a team in check don't let them put up 5+ runs on you, I feel like McCune and Glenn can both limit damage but won't play lights out on the mound

Not true. He only started game 2 of the finals against Texas.

Renaudo started against Virginia.
Coleman started against Arkansas.

You typed up a lot of shite there. He pitched early in the game against Virginia which is what I was thinking about.
