I agree that Erxleben was bad. You just don't draft a P/K number 1 (even if the Raiders did that with Ray Guy). However, until this article I didn't appreciate the context of the J. Sullivan pick - burning 2 1st Rd picks for him while trying to recover from the R. Williams debacle. That's a really bad context and I might be persuaded that the Sullivan pick was worse than Erxleben. It's close, though.
