Well some folks in LA do. I saw an episode where Larry the cable guy was catching buffalo carp with some coonasses to sell for 3 bucks a pound.

buffalo are suckers. i think anyone who eats pan/deep fried buffalo ribs and says they dont like the taste is lying. thats if they eat other fried fish. its a tender white meat that doe not have a distinct taste if its prepared the same as other fish.

The carp they catch are not the new jumping ones.

They catch both buffalo and carp. Pretty sure the carp are not sold for human consumption. The buffalo are. Big price difference. The carp pay the bills.

I dont understand the fish snobbery. Ive heard from some old folks that it was the same 50 years ago. Personally, fry that shite up in some Tony's with some french fries and pass me a beer and some ketchup and Ill eat it. All freshwater fish taste the same to me.
