My favorite. If you don't want to drop everything and go on an extended road trip after watching it, you have no soul.

The West wasn't as good, but had potential. Burns was executive producer but it's on a different level than most Burns work. Stephen Ives was the director.

I have tried to lay low on this thread, but watching Ken Burns on Daily Show regarding the Central Park Five pissed me off.

If anyone knows anything about this... and many people do, of course, I don't see how Ken and Jon completely glossed over the real details of the case.

Yes, 5(6) teenagers wrongly convicted of rape(committed by a serial rapist). 5 teenagers coerced into confessions. But also 5(35) teenagers that were beating, stealing, intimidating Central Park at the same time.

There's a wrong place and wrong time, but then there's a wrong people doing the wrong things at the same time.

Inherently, I don't think NYC owes these people jack. But if you want to propagate why they were wrongly accused and convicted, then also highlight why they were real suspects.

Civil War, but baseball is incredible even if not a fan. I had several people watching with me and loving it and they are not ones who would normally watch that.
