I am excited... But sadly, the majority of people don't know the difference between Greek and Lebanese

Hell yeah. I wish they'd take back their old location from that god awful mexican joint
?? ??
Before it moved to the building now occupied by La Lagniappe, Zorba's was located in the strip shopping center across from Perkins Rowe. It was behind what is now Buffalo Wild Wings in the corner (used to be right next to a Zack's Frozen Yogurt). The Mexican place, Mamacita's, was where Buffalo Wild Wings is now located.
ETA:
I'm trying to remember what the name of that place was before it was Mamacita's. I think Zorbas may have moved to the Perkins Rd. location before Mamacita's moved in. Mamacita's originally existed in the strip shopping center further up Blue Bonnett across the I-10, in that strip with Cadillac Cafe.

This is so very true. The average diner has no idea that the other restaurants in town are solely Middle Eastern fare.
Bring me some souvlaki & moussaka! ¡Opa!

Way back I they were across the street from Calandro's on Government.

Awesome. 500 yards away from work.
That space there in is a restaurant graveyard, however.

That's what I was thinking, but Zorba's was at the current Lagniappe location. Serops original was at LaCarreta's current location.
My bad.
