Read it on ESPN live board, had no idea they were injured. Any idea what's going on?

I know Mills had his arm in a sling first day back from spring break. Probably hurt it jumping out a hotel window on spring break into a pool of naked coeds funneling beer. At least that's how i like to imagine it.

I read it on the ESPN page talking about LSU football. Chris Low made the statement. He also said he liked Bama's facility better than ours

Dang. At least there's time for them to heal and get back.

If we look at the brightside, they have been in the system and know the defense well. This might give some younger backups some chance to get solid 1st team reps.

We need DE's getting reps.

That sucks, Rasco will be the #1 DL this year IMO.

I'd say Mills is still learning the system. He is however, a complete beast given his performance his true freshman year.

For Rasco, sure he's been in the system and knows the way we do things. As long as its not something serious, it shouldn't hurt us that bad. But, Mills is still just a freshman going into his sophomore season. Sure, he started day 1 and played well but still made costly mistakes that were both physically and mentally. This spring was huge for his development as a player and as a leader for the DBs. He needed to have a strong spring to elevate his game. Now he's out.

Only difference is they have 2 back to back BCS Champ banners hanging...I'd like that better too.

Chris Low:
Rasco had shoulder surgery, nothing serious. Wanted to go ahead and get it taken care of. He will be ready for start of preseason camp. It was also shoulder surgery for Mills.

I bet it was torn labrum. Most common. I had that surgery + rotator cuff 7 weeks ago and I am playing in a golf tourny tomorrow.

ETA:

And I barely do my physical therapy and didn't take care of my shoulder at all post surgery (yes I'm a lucky idiot). These guys will have around the clock care and rehab. NO BIG DEAL.

FAIL!! had the best season by far in the secondary. If anybody made costly mistakes it was reid and simon busting coverage everytime you blink.
