David Bottrill Appreciation Thread

So, I've seen plenty of appreciations for bands/singers/guitarists/drummers/etc, but not often does a producer get one. Mr. Bottrill deserves one. I can't think of another producer that gets more out of bands than he does. I've heard that not all bands are his best friends after sessions, but the results cannot be argued:

King Crimson - Thrak
Tool - Ænima, Lateralus
Silverchair - Diorama, Young Modern
Fair to Midland - Fables from a Mayfly: What I Tell You Three Times Is True
Circa Survive - Blue Sky Noise
*eta Muse - Origin of Symmetry

The thing that stands out to me is his ability to get the most out of a vocalist, but also the depth that he gives the sound.
