Don't want ahead of myself and jinks the tigers, but I have decided to go to Omaha this year if tigers are fortunate to get there. Need advice from those who have been.
1. Drive or fly?
2. When to go( want to see 2 games).
3.hotels( location and reasonable price).
4. Tickets( buy early or get them there).
Please give any other advice. Have frequent flyer miles. Does anyone have experience with flights being blacked out for Omaha at this time.

I'm surprised you are worried. This is the same person who started a thread in January about PM getting fired if LSU had a bad season. Hell you couldn't even spell his name right.

My son posts under my name sometimes. But the question about PM being on hot seat if he doesn't make Omaha this year is legit.

This is what I try to tell everyone about the SEC championship. No one will leave Louisiana without tickets in-hand.

Meanwhile, I walked up and bought row10 tickets for facevalue in a grand total of 30seconds of looking. ....and that's when we were playing Georgia in Georgia.

Really no excuse there, we've been probably 10 times over the years and have never had tickets before we got there. Making hotel reservations today for Hoover, it's really a great 3 or 4 days of baseball.

Friend told me he checked a Holiday Inn in Omaha and rates were between 250-300. That's seems to be high. What other hotels would be more reasonable?

Booked on Southwest, direct from N.O. to K.C. this week. There is one daily non-stop flight. Southwest does not have re-booking fees, so you can use the credit on a future flight (within a year) if something catastrophic happened).
