Just finished off some of Tony's boudin balls from a vendor.

Bergerons across the river I might would give an edge to.

I haven't found any boudin balls in the area that I'd really go out of my way for. I find Tony's to be overrated; the "Cajun" ones are ok, but are small and unlike a traditional boudin ball. I really don't care for their seafood versions at all. Their should really be called boudin bites, not boudin balls.

Bergeron's smoked boudin, on the other hand

I get nostalgic for Tony's boudin balls, but they are definitely different from most places, and boudin bites is more appropriate.

Mansur's & Gino's....I've been to both several times in my life, but not in the past 5 years, and I don't know why....Those basically count as places I haven't been to, right?

Pass. Nothing special, no where close to as good as Rama, owner is a dick.

I used to go there all the time and spent a good bit of money. One random day I had a pretty simple mess up on my order which they should have fixed. The owner was a complete prick about it and turned me off to the place. Thank God I found out about Rama before I needed my next pad thai fix.

About to go to a jobsite in Plaquemine. I think I'll go there for lunch while I'm on that side of the river.

The stuffed pork chops at Bergeron's are off the charts.
