For me, Goldeneye was my first exposer to Bond. When you compare it to other Bonds it's not hat great, but it still holds a place in my heart for introducing me to Bond

This holds true for me too. I always love to rewatch it because of that sentimental factor.

Quantum Of Solace - didn't seem like a canned, studio-forced, rushed movie... at all.

Yes!
It is severely underrated. Tim Dalton didn't quite "look" like Bond but he took the role seriously and really got into the books. He was the anti-Roger Moore in that way and, like Craig, explored the darker, more conflicted side. Plus License to Kill was just so much fun! Yeah, it had some Miami Vice feel to it but it was so 80's! plus young Benicio del Toro as a villain. I love it even though so many Bond aficionados love to hate it.

As for my other favorites:

From Russia with Love (stands out to me as the best pure Bond movie)
The Spy Who Loved Me
Casino Royale
Goldfinger
Skyfall

Funny that I have two Craig movies on here because I really don't like his sour-faced routine as Bond but they built two fantastic movies around him and he is a good actor.

growing up in the 70's the Bond mystic was cool, he made getting woman look natural.

30+ years later the steriotype just does not work for me anymore. The characters are too contrived IMO, The Woman have become more complex but still predictable with very few exceptions.

I like the Borne series better, just wish he had better luck with woman.

sorry
