Chainsaw help: any ideas on how to reattach this

The red tube pops on the nipple thing down at the bottom
Needlenose wont fit all the way down. All i can think is one of those long skinny clamps
I assume it goes to the primer bulb from the noise made

Does that tube come out of the tank? I replaced that part on my weedeater last year and it came with a stiff wire to pull it out of the tank from the inside. From your description it doesn't sound the same but thought I'd mention just in case.

Yea ot goes in there and plugs onto a nipple

Or just age. Local small-engine shop should be able to sell you a few feet of fuel line for cheap. I keep about 5 feet of it just in case stuff like that happens on my equipment.

Its really not that old at all.
The bigger issue for me is how im going to reattach it down there. I got nothin that will reach it

Got some of those long swallowed hook taker outers? They work very well.

Take off that small filter and use a nail about the same size as the I.D. of that hose. Insert from the filter end and leave just enough to fit back onto nipple inside tank. Should give the hose enough backbone to work it on.

They make long, skinny needle nose pliers. They also make ones with a 30° bend on the end if them
