Lets say it was the night before an LSU football home game. Admission would be free.

About 45 minutes of Practice, followed by a dunk, 3 point, and skills competition.

Also, attendants would receive a T shirt and a chance to enter a drawing to be selected for a half court shot with free season tickets as a grand prize.

Other giveaways would be free pizza, student priority points, and other things of that nature.

Would you go?

ETA: for those of you not familiar with midnight madness, it's the first practice of the season beginning at 12:01 A.M.

Also, in attendance:

Mike
Cheerleaders
Tiger Girls
Bengal Brass Band
Former Players signing autographs

LSU needs to fill up the PMAC for games first and foremost, then you can try and do something like that - LSU is not UK hoops, plus have the PMAC fanbase is old and leaves at the second timeout of the 2nd half to beat the stampede

Don't you think offering a free preview of the team would help boost attendance for other games?

Oh yeah. It'd be cool to have a spring game type preview for basketball as well.

nah. I was just gauging the rant's interest to see if something like this would even be feasible.
