Like all LSU BB fans, I see an up and coming program. I am excited about Johnny Jones and the new recruits arriving this Fall. However we need patience. We need at least two excellent recruiting years to compete with the Michigan's and Louisville's. We need depth. Did you see how many really good players there were on both teams?

What does everyone think?

NCAA tournament good. Can probably make it to sweet 16, but that's the ceiling imo.

if JOB3 comes back I think not making the tournament would fall short of the teams goal, they were almost in the talk this year

Damn, I thought there was a NC basketball game tonight! Must have been a replay!?

And isn't there a Women's NC game tomorrow night? I must have been reading an old newspaper.

The baseball team is great! I am loving every minute! But life goes on in other sports as well! In fact, last time I looked LSU football is playing their spring game this month!

With the right pieces, this program could reach another final 4 under JJ

Tournament run good if JOB III comes back

If not

Then it will totally depend on how good the freshmen are if we can make the tournament

I will be satisfied with a tournament appearance and a win in the 1st Round. Anything after that, I will be ecstatic about.

I think there's a chance this team wins 2 games in the Tournament, but, outside of JOB, the improvement we will be getting will be Freshman, and I have no idea how they will gel.

It's definitely exciting what CJJ has done with the program in one year, I just want to sit back and enjoy the climb.

Alot of people will say it all depends on JOB3 coming back, and that will vault next years team to sweet 16 level of ability, but Jarrell Martin and Jordan Mickey are STUDS and them two by themselves with Odoh clogging the lane is worlds ahead of this past year's post group (JOB3, Tuba, Coleman). Mickey allows Coleman to move to the 3, Martin can shoot the 3 ball, and Odoh will get boards and blocks from day one.

The guard play from the upperclassman with Quarterman spelling them is going to be huge as well.

Anything less than the tournament, with or without JOB3, is a dissapointment.

This is what I'm most excited about next year.

We need somebody that will make people scared to come into the lane, and Odo will do that.

These are exactly my thoughts as well. Need to see how attrition plays out and if we have any late additions like we did last year.

I do no forsee late attrition, but would like to know when Malone gets to Baton Rouge what he can really do. If he can contribute next year that would be huge because there are only 4 SEC teams that return 7 footers that played, it also gives a true 5 post player rotation, allows for Martin/Coleman to both be hybrid 3/4. The other reason I dont believe there would be late additions is that the 2014 class is loaded. Collins and Hammink while some calked for them to leave without them this year during emergency situations like when Hickey got suspended and JOB was hurt this team like the women might have only dressed like 7 or 8 scholarship players.
