Lady Slack and I watched the pilot last night. Really enjoyed it a lot. A ton of stuff happened, maybe even slightly rushed. But, it has really sucked me in. I just have one question:

Did the show get canceled, or did it get a proper ending? I don't want to know anything about the ending. Just wondering if the writers were allowed to end it, or if it was just ended preemptively by executives without an ending.

I think it had a proper ending. I was a big fan of the show the first couple of seasons it was on, but it fell way off. (They had a couple of big game changing storyline twists. It kinda didn't work and the show suffered) By the time it went off the air, I had stopped watching.

The writers were allowed to end it, and after going off track a little in Seasons 4-5 they did get a chance to wrap it up nicely for serious fans. Not the last two seasons I would have asked for, but I enjoyed them because of the first three. Definitely in my top 10 of all time because of the style, Jennifer Garner,Victor Garber, and Milo Rambaldi.

Agree with BigApple. The plot line got big and unweildy for a couple seasons, but the writers were given a chance to wrap it up.

Alias was great until Ben Afflack and Jennifer Garner had sex. When she got pregnant it really messed up the storyline.

I agree with what has been said. It is a great show and the whole thing is worth watching but the first few seasons were the best. It dropped off, not Heroes bad, but it did drop off.
