Looking for a French Quarter Restaurant Recommendation

My wife and I decided to take an impromptu trip to New Orleans this weekend. We will be staying in the French Quarter. I understand it is French Quarter fest this weekend so this will be taken into consideration.
We're looking for a restaurant recommendation for Friday night. Some place where we can get dressed up and enjoy a great meal. I know it might be tough to get reservations at some places on short notice, but we are willing to eat late if that's what it takes.
For the record, we haven't dined in the French Quarter together in quite some time, since we usually stay uptown, so any and all suggestions would be appreciated!

Pelican Club, Le Foret, or Muriels.
NOLA might work as well.
If you can't find anything in the quarter, don't be afraid to head towards the Warehouse District.

K Paul's is my usual go-to FQ restaurant. But many good ideas in this thread.

If you want to get dressed up and have that type of ambience then go with galatories, Stella or August

I think Irene's is a great suggestion, but I really doubt that they will have any open reservations this weekend.
