what % speed difference from straight ethernet?
got new cable service where the hardLAN Docsis 2 modem is giving me 24-32Mb/sec
but my router is a motorola SBG901 (NOT N)....and I pull speeds of .5-4Mb/sec
if I switch to D3 and N...how close will I get to HardLAN?
my service says "speeds up to 50Mb/sec"

well shelled out 160 for doc3 and N
ethernet pulled 56Mb/sec....(yes 56 mega bits per second)
wireless N 12 feet away pulled 17 Mb/sec
tech support said I was supposed to get around 80%....but looking at 33%
normal?

get the D3 from cisco. it has a wireless router built in and i have been able to pull 50mbps down wireless.
i dont know the maximum wireless bc that was the top speed i was paying for
also, make sure that the device that you are pulling to, supports the correct wireless bands that can pull speeds that high
