We don't buy one chicken a week. Some weeks we buy two.

Makes the best Chicken salad you'd want to eat. We can have roasted chicken for dinner and chicken salad the next day.

Never leave for the beach or river (my two favorite places to go) without making chicken salad to take with us. On a cracker or Oatmeal or Wheat Berry Bread is my preference. A scoop with a scoop of cottage cheese is OK too.

I hate to see birds that have fallen off the racks in the roaster at Sam's, because they throw them away when they take the cooked birds off the racks to package them in the little chicken boats.

I understand HACCP rules and the whys that makes throwing them away a requirement, but what a waste!

Oops - my bad.

I don't think so. The Sam's restaurant menu is somewhat limited. What you see in my photo is pretty much what they have.

They are pretty liberal in who they take. As far as I know, there is no qualification test!

I see lots of people in Sam's who look like you do in your avitar photo.

Sam's Parmesan Crusted Talipia

I love these. Domestic fish if I remember correctly. I also enjoy the frozen ahi tuna steaks and the char grilled chicken fillets. I pick some up from Sam's every two weeks or so. Makes lunch at work easy.

I've tried to avoid the pizza and hot dogs because they aren't all that healthy but I'm going to hit it up next time because of this thread.

Funny - the thread was intended to share the wife's Citrus Vinegrette recipe.

I like Sam's steak Fingers. Usually throw the gravy packet away and just eat the steak fingers, which have nothing to do with steak.

I saw a riot almost break out at the Sam's in Metairie over rotisserie chicken. Eventually 2 people were cited.

I do most of my meat shopping at Sam's. Whenever I do catfish, brisket or ribs, it all comes from Sam's.

And the trip wouldn't be complete without a Nathan's Hot Dog.

And I always get a cooked chicken for dinner that night.
