Don't fool yourselves, Arkansas is a good team. They had some bad luck early in SEC play then sweept a ranked Georgia team on the road.

I went to my first softball games when Kentucky came to town. Best entertainment for 5 bucks in town. Music great and alot more fun than the men's games were this weekend. I will certainly go back.

i bet your seats were better too...

Some of you people in this thread are out of control. If you're going to support LSU then support everybody that puts on that uniform regardless of sport. Sitting behind a keyboard talking shite cause it's not your favorite sport only attempts to discredit the athletes that busted their asses to get to where they are today.

People who are doing that have obviously never worn an LSU uniform. Any sport that has success brings added exposure to the school...period. If they're good enough to put an LSU on their chest then they've earned your support, you can believe that.

Too much pitching, not enough hitting. All about defense. Boring. That's what's wrong with the game in general.

See here's where you lost me. Nobody watches softball (or women's sports in general), so there's really no exposure value.

I'm sure they played their cute little hearts out, though.

I happened to see the last play of the game and OMG that was the worst throw ever. Women's sports are unwatchable.

I started a thread couple days ago about Fico being a finalist for the Senior CLASS award, with a link to vote for her.
I won't say I follow them, but did see that, and a few days prior saw they were first in the West

Why no love for softball? Because 97% of the guys on here are are womanizers. They think the woman's place is in the home. There. I said it. They obviously aren't real sports fans.

My dad was a college football player in his' 70's and still watches women's softball and basketball. Why? Because he is a real lover of sports.

Wrong answer.

The Women's CWS regularly draws 1.5-2.0 million viewers per game. That is hardly "no exposure value".

I won't lie, I haven't seen a game this year. I don't watch many of the non-big3 sports, but I wish them all well. I loved watching the run to the WCWS last year. Even enjoyed the ULL games in the WCWS.
Also one of the best basketball games I have watched was a UT-LSU game some where in the middle of our FF runs
