Serious answer to the OP. I don't think of my life in those terms. Never have obsessed about it.

The question doesn't assume you obsess about it or that you should encompass your life around it, it's a question for this present moment. Think about it, answer it, then move on.

Nah. It's a silly question for conservative, obsessed politards. Not joking. No need to even think further about it.

Forget political parties even exist.

You think about it everyday. The amount of time you spend on this board shows that you do indeed think about gov intervention, that's what politics is right? I think you are scared to answer it because your answer will go against your supposed party beliefs, but I want you to forget about party ideology for a second, if that's possible.

Nope, less government and more personal accountability is what's needed in this country to make it great again.

Are you seriously saying you believe this? I've been thinking you seem out of touch but I am pretty goddamned sure of it now.

I'm sure if you thought long enough you too would realize this is something you contemplate as well. I mean, it's not like it's at the heart of both dominant ideologies or anything...

Wasn't the question, so the only things you ever contemplate are the things you can directly relate to how you think of your life?

Nope. This it the thing that apparently draws ire on the board when I post. I wake up, go to work and represent my clients, pay taxes (yeah, sucks sometimes), have fun in my leisure time, frick around on this board, go to ball games, movies, art openings, listen to music and occasionally go to live shows, work out, eat at nice restaurants, cook good meals at home, take somewhat of an interest in foreign policy and domestic policy but realize I (and 99% of the people on this board) have it pretty good.

I asked this question a couple of years ago on this board. What specific freedoms do you not have in America? You can do whatever the frick you want. You can theorize that, somehow, "less government" would make your live significantly different and better, but I think for most of us it's nothing but talk.

I think he is just full of shit, he does this same crap on every board. It's just an e-personna.

Well, your syntax leaves something to be desired, but I will say that, yes, I mostly care about my family and friends (and myself) and we're fine now and in the foreseeable future. Secondly, I do sort of give a shite about those less fortunate and try to help them in my work (along with more profitable ventures).

So because we enjoy living here, we shouldn't try to make it even better? We should just ignore what is happening in our government because we were successful?

And the "you can do whatever the frick you want" part is pretty laughable.

Nothing's happening in our government that I haven't seen before, youngster. Sure I try to make things better when possible. What does that have to do with the question?

What would you like to do that you cannot do? Kill or rob someone? frick your 14 year old neighbor?

I take a healthy interest in politics. Again, that wasn't the question.

They why the frick do you even post here? If life is so great, you have absolutely nothing to lose, then why are you even here? This place (according to you) drives you nuts.

WHat's your interest in politics? You come post the same old schtick over and over and over and over...

Mmmm, good question. Why do people watch an aquarium? I find this place fricking fascinating in its own way. Tell me. Is your life fricked up? I would assume not.

To elect competent managers and legislators. I'm a pragmatist. Not an ideologue.
