I think GV might last one more year until we find someone we truly love (unless draft odds play out well/EG trade has major value returning to us) or when we can steal away Bledsoe for less assets through RFA.
Props to Michael McNamara on the missing piece series. Great stuff. Check it out nearly every Saturday.
Go pistons! Beat them wolves.

Interesting article and kind of depressing.. I'm really hoping we can land Smart. He seems to be slipping, so it might not take anything to land him.

yep.
where is he hearing that Boston wants Austin Rivers? If true, the deal can't be done fast enough
It seems like he is in win now mode. The team will be better next year, but, outside of Rondo, the vets he lists are over priced flawed players. Maybe you can get Jennings/Evans for under $10mil, but I doubt it. They really need another pick- hopefully they can flip an asset into a late first.
Having watched no cbb this year, my big board looks like this:
Noel
Porter
Smart
MCW
Oladipo

I'd be overjoyed if we can get Rondo, but I don't want to trade this years pick for him and I really want the package to include Gordon. Perhaps they might go for a package like this (LINK )? Maybe if we agree to swap picks as well. That'd have us picking around 16 or so and we could find a decent player there..

Monty pulled him from the game in the 3rd, they had some words and Gordon never went back in (somebody said they yelled at each other, but I haven't seen anything to back that up yet)..

I just started watching the second half again.
Gordon started moping after he got tied up on a drive.
Then he didn't follow Davis on the break giving the Jazz and easy rebound.
Lazy closeout on Foye for an easy 3.
He didn't try to fight over a screen to chase Hayward who got wide open for a 3 against Davis.
Turned it over on a lazy walk over the pick
Left Foye all alone for a drive. Davis got the block, but left Milsap alone to do it. Milsap got the easy put back.
Monty called a timeout and tried to pull Gordon aside, but Gordon brushed him off and walked to the bench.

Tyreke Evans being ranked above anyone on that list is a joke, considering how cheap rookie contracts are, he's not a point guard, can't wait to see who overpays for him

Exactly what I told McNamara on twitter about Evans

I still don't quite understand the Bledsoe love

The guy is an awesome athlete and has tons of talent. He is a total boom or bust guy. I'm not sure he is worth the risk, but you can never tell until he is given a full time spot.. till then it will always just be flashes of what can be..

Im asking seriously because I havent watched either guy:
Whats Oladipo's ceiling? Tony Allen with a better jumper?
MCW apparently cant shoot, but, for this team, I'll take the guy that can create over the guy that can't.

Maybe im alone in saying this, but i have no interest in getting rid of an average player to replace him with another average player. So if we can get a rondo or bledsoe, id love it because i see their ceiling is much higher than vasquez. But i have 0 interest in brandon jennings, jeff teague, or tyreke evans, and i dont have interest in getting a rookie pg and expect them to play starter minutes and be the leader of this team. I agree vasquez isnt the answer, but that doesnt mean you get rid of him by all means necessary. Besides for the time being im still alot more interested in a small forward that can average more than 7 a game, and a center than will grab more than 6 rebounds a game.

So is Aminu
I'm just not excited about ditching an average point guard for another average point guard

@qjenk Vasquez is not even close to those guys you mentioned. I would rather have any of them than have Vasquez running the point
Posted on 4/6/13 at 5:05 pm to WhoDatPelican596
I don't get your hate for Vasquez, he's by far been our most consistent and best player this year
Sure we could have a much better player there, but its not like we're overpaying Vasquez. We have bigger needs, and even if we do get a new PG, Vasquez could very well stay on roster as a backup

Wait I missed the game last night
Gordon went full on vagina mode?
I'm shocked
And with all the extra time buying people breakfast and working day and night to try and hide how much of a total and complete bitch he is

Well no one really knows what happened because it was during a commercial break
The only people that saw it and said something about it were a Jazz analyst and McNamara
Monty didn't say anything about it
