How do you pronounce that last name? It seems like the result of a cat on a keyboard.

but frick that would be an amazing signing

yes sir, I think I'm coming around to preferring him over Eriksen (thats done anyway)... He brings goals to the table and we will need that if Suarez leaves.

I'm kinda meh on Mingolet... I'd prefer to keep Pepe. Now, he wouldnt be a bad #2 GK to have.. and someone to push Pepe

As first revealed by Telegraph Sport, Rodgers has identified Mkhitaryan as his flagship signing for the summer and has tabled a bid which is believed to have triggered a release clause inserted into the 24-year-old’s contract by the Ukrainian champions.

No way this happens.

Good, but thankfully cost Bayern the CL last year.

Eriksen is much better.

Real Madrid has confirmed they won´t sell or loan out Morata.

No biggie, really. This kid is NOT as good as everyone thinks.

They said the same thing about Eto'o, Negredo, and Soldado.....

Real Madrid? Yeah, although I think the Eto´o thing was more about the exponential capital gain, as opposed to his being good. However, they did vastly underrate his upside.

Negredo, Soldado. I´m not so sure.

Soldado is feisty, and knows what he´s doing, but he´s not world class. Neither is Negredo, but is much bigger (a definite asset).

No such luck. It was merely a Confed Cup opener, nothing to celebrate. What´s your excuse?

Really? A Sunday?

Anyway, I´m sure Spain´s win chapped your arse, but you´re going to have to get used to it.

Spain should win this Confed Cup, and be crowned GOAT. Brasil´s going to have officiating help, as we saw yesterday, but I expect Spain to overcome all obstacles.

Your boys will have their day in the sun, no doubt. We both know it´s inevitable.

Anyway, how ´bout that Francisco Alarcón? Should be a starter on the absolute side, shouldn´t he?

How´d you like to defend him and Iniesta at the same time? Pretty damned sick.

Had to google him to realize that shite means Isco. I wish he wouldn't go to Real Madrid because I don't see how he fits in with Özil and Luca Modric. I think he would be a star at Manchester City.

Yeah, I don´t get it either. RM´s gonna dump Luka before Mezut, we both know that.

Isco is a superior value to Modric, and I really, really like Modric.

I think Real would be fine if they sold Xabi Alonso (even though I like him) and played Modric as a holding midfielder with Khedira. I hate when Real puts Özil out wide, so maybe Isco would play out on the right, but I feel like that would limit his effectiveness too. They should be more worried about buying a 9 than a 10, IMO.

Correct, but it seems they are lately about buying the best values or talents in the market (and if these two concepts coincide, well then, all the better).

RM didn´t need Özil when they bought him, now did they?

Xabi´s seen his better years, no doubt. I don´t know about Modric back there.

Anyway, with the addition of Isco, you possibly could play the ´magic cuadrant´, box or diamond, with Isco behind Cristianito, and Mezut behind DiMaría (although I think this guy is expendable, once Isco signs).

Maybe the ´magic box´ or diamond, with CRon and Bale upfront, and Isco behind CRon, Özil behind Bale. Hmmh.

The Magic Box was employed at RM by Pellegrini, and this is a group, with the exception of Bale (I really haven´t seen him play enough to know the level of sophistication with the ball at his feet, I´m assuming he´s at least as good as DiMaría and not just a winger), that spells guaranteed success in that formation, IMO.

That would be a hell of a potent lineup. Both Isco and Özil would like to get central though so you'd need buy a more competent right back.
