Muddy inshore fishing advice needed

Headin down to the camp this evening and it looks like the weather is gonna force me to fish some dirty water inside. The tide isn't gonna be too impressive either, so it's gonna be a challenge to get on some fish. I'm thinkin i'll just target some reds in the marsh, so what kinda advice do y'all have for fishing in conditions like this? Thanks

dirty water = dark colored jigs
That's all I got.

Get in the man made canals between the harry bourg property and bayou saveur. You can probably at least find clean water there.

I'd go on a 2.5 day drunk if it was me.

Anybody purchase a fishing leash from them? Just curious if it is worth it.

As much as I've fished back there the last few years, I got stopped for the first time a couple months ago on a weekend. My buddy forgot his passes at the camp, but the guy just warned us and let us go. It's bullshite because every person fishing on the boat has to buy one even if they're going out one time. If you're in SOCO, its definitely worth it though IMO.

We do because it is so convenient to fish it from the camp. 5 minutes and we are at the property and there are a lot of good ponds to fish.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I guess I'll go pick up some market shrimp from down the road.
